Is October a good time to visit Kuşadası?
It can suit walking and sightseeing if your plans can move with the weather. Keep an indoor option and use the local forecast to choose the day for Ephesus or a longer coastal outing.

Kuşadası through the year
April suits a trip with plenty of walking. May and September give you more room to mix sightseeing with the coast. October needs a flexible plan for rain. Choose your month around the days you want to spend here.

For a first visit with both town outings and beach time, May or September is a sensible starting point. July and August have the highest average daytime temperatures. April is cooler, while October still has mild daytime averages but more rain than summer. These choices come from local climate records, not a promise about the weather on your dates.
WMO 1991 to 2020 normals for Kuşadası station 17232, elevation 25 metres, archived by NOAA. High and low mean the monthly averages of daily maximum and minimum air temperature. Rain is the average monthly total. Figures are rounded; they are not a forecast or sea temperatures.

Use an April visit for Ephesus, the harbour and a day in Selçuk or Şirince. Start with the outing that needs the longest dry spell, then leave a shorter town walk for another day. A beach visit can be a seaside walk and lunch without depending on swimming weather.
Pack a light jacket for evenings and a rain layer you can carry during the day. For Ephesus, choose shoes for the archaeological site's walking surfaces. The useful question is how much of the day you want to spend outside, especially if your group includes children or someone who tires on longer walks.
May is a useful compromise if you would rather keep your plans varied. Put Ephesus on one day and leave another for Ladies Beach. A Şirince visit deserves its own time for the Selçuk connection, a village walk and lunch; adding it after a full archaeological visit makes a much longer day.
If a pool, boat trip or beach service is part of the reason you are coming, confirm its operation for your dates before booking around it. Air temperature alone cannot tell you whether you will enjoy a swim. Keep one day open so the forecast can decide whether you go inland or stay by the coast.
September remains warm enough to plan around sun and shade. For a mixed trip, alternate a longer excursion with a day near your accommodation. It is easier to enjoy Ephesus, then a beach day, than to fit the archaeological site and a second inland stop into every available hour.
Take drinking water and sun protection on the same basis as a summer visit, and bring a layer for an evening outside. Keep a return option in mind before you head to a more distant beach. A September date is not evidence that every summer timetable or excursion still operates unchanged.
October can suit a visit built around town walks, food and historic sites. Put the longest outdoor outing on the clearest day in the local forecast. Leave a Kuşadası museum visit as a shorter alternative, with its own opening hours checked before you leave.
Bring shoes you are happy to wear in wet streets, a rain layer and something warmer for the evening. Do not make a boat trip the only plan for a short stay. Confirm both the sailing and its weather policy, then keep a land option for that day.
For a summer sightseeing day, use the first suitable entry time at the attraction, carry water and plan a real break. Moving an exposed walk away from the middle of the day is more useful than trying to complete every stop. Published averages do not set an upper limit on an individual day's heat.
If you want a national park day, choose the bay and the journey before leaving Kuşadası. A bus to Güzelçamlı does not settle the final trip inside the park. With children or a group, agree on shade, food and the return journey while you still have easy choices in town.
For these months, start with town visits and add a longer outdoor outing when the forecast allows it. March can work for an early spring sightseeing trip, but a winter evening needs warmer clothing than a summer packing list suggests. Keep travel and accommodation choices useful even if you spend less time at the beach.
Before choosing dates, confirm the room you want and any facility that matters to your stay. Then check the actual day's transport and venue openings. A climate table can help you choose a month; the local forecast and operating information should decide the final itinerary.

Choose April if walking and historic sites are the main reason for the trip. May is a better starting point for a mix of coast time and excursions. For either month, confirm pool and excursion availability for your dates separately.
